about elle

elle is a proud trans woman, and soon to be mother. she is somewhere in her 30s, and works professionally in trans healthcare, advocacy, and support.

she is a multidisciplinary artist whose mediums include photography, written word, any form of acrylic paint you can think of, and videogames. when she is able to find the time, she makes herself busy with woodwork, metalwork, electronics, and woodcut/linocuts.

she also describes herself as a broad-spectrum nerd, and finds herself equally at home planning tabletop-rpgs — developing data visualisations and managing SQL databases — playing board games — or building information-based websites.

she is an ethical vegan (and has been for almost one and a half decades), and when she has the energy, she's able to cook almost anything you can imagine.

and though she might ocassionally joke that her body and her brain frequently let her down, she acknowledges that having both a chronic pain illness, and neurodivergence (both ADHD and autuism) is just a normal part of her lived experience — and is what has made her the person she is today.

she also feels very weird about writing a bio for a personal website and not a professional speaking engagement or conference presentation.
